Conflicts of Interest and the IACUC
Both the AWRs and PHS Policy state that no IACUC member "may participate in the IACUC review or approval of an activity in which that member has a conflicting interest except to provide information requested by the IACUC."
If you know you have a conflict of interest or potentially have a conflict of interest you should inform the IACUC Chair for resolution. This may result in not allowing you to participate in a proposal review or approval except to provide information.
