HOUSING AND SOCIAL NEEDS (cont)
Goats may be housed in a group or singly. If goats are singly housed, they should at least be able to see another animal. Goats are expert climbers and jumpers but this doesn't seem to be a problem when they are housed side-to-side with other goats.
Goats should be group or pair housed if possible. Goats form dominance hierarchies within groups and therefore may be sensitive to any changes in group composition. You should not move single animals into an established group - rather add several goats at the same time. Also, you should not house horned goats with those that have been de-horned.
